Two Flue Fires - One Turns in to Structure |

At approximately 6:00 p.m. Garrett Central recieved a call for a flue fire on Pleasant Valley Road. Engine Rescue 43, and Truck 44 responded. Units arrived on the scene and put the flue out. A few minutes after the units arrived on scene Garrett Central called Chief 40 to see if he had avalible units for another flue fire. Truck 44, and Tanker 46 responded to the Hutton Road for another flue fire. First responder F.F Jim Walkling arrived on scene and reported a working structure fire. First arriving unit Tanker 46 pulled a hose line and cut into the wall a put the fire out. As other units arrived on scene overhauling began, with the pulling of ceilings, and the cutting open the roof. Major Snowmobile Accident |

Around 11:30 p.m. call came into Garrett Central for a snowmobile accident. Two people were riding a snowmobile around Cranesville Road, and Herrington Manor Road. As the snowmobile was going at a high rate of speed it hit a large rock. This ejected both riders. Both people where transported by Southern Rescue Squad. Possible House Fire |

The call came into Garrett Central for a possible house fire on Oakland Sang Road. Truck 44 and Tanker 46 responded to the scene. When the first called units arrived they took an extensive 3 hour search inside and outside the the house. Two Structure Fires in One Night |

Around 1:00 a.m. Chief 160 from Terra Alta requested for Truck 44 and Tanker 46 to respond mutual aid for a major house fire in downtown Terra Alta. The units responded a few minutes after the alert. 20 minutes later a call came in for a structure fire on the Hutton Road. Firefighter Jeff Hinebaugh arrived on the scene and advised a working structure fire. Engine Rescue 43 responded and arrived on scene to stretch 3 hose lines. Garrett Central requested for Tanker 46 to responded to the Hutton road. The fire was under control in 40 minutes.
