Burn Training
Oakland and surrounding companies joined together to some training Sunday morning. This burn consisted of RIT training, search and rescue, and then a few live burns. Overall the training was a success. Everyone had the opportunity to participate in each training evolution. Company 40 had 8 members and staffed the truck and engine during the training.Southern Garrett Ambulance stood by at the training incase of an injury.

MVA on Route 219 North
At approximatly 3:00 a.m. a call came in to Garrett Central for a motor vehicle accident on 219 north. The caller advised a vehicle was on its roof, there was no entrapment. Engine Rescue 43 arrived to find a priorty 3 patient. She was transported by Southern Garrett Ambulance to Garrett Memorial Hospital. The road was cleared, and the crew cleared the scene at about 3:30 a.m.
