Mutual Aid to Terra Alta on Trailor Fire
Crews were alerted at 2211 hrs. to assist Co. 160 (Terra Alta) on a trailor fire on the Freeport Roadin Preston County. This sent the Engine/Rescue with seven and Tanker 46 with three. Crews arrived to find the trailor completely destroyed and on the ground. The crews assisted with mop up and returned to service by 2325 hrs.

Smoke in the Business on Garrett Highway, North
Garrett Central Alarm received the call at 1025 hrs. for smoke in the building at 12899 Garrett Highway at Team One Auto Mall. The crew on Engine Rescue 43 arrived to find light smoke in the show room and office areas. Chief 40 (Feather) requested a full assignment to be dispatched. After an extensive search and the business contacting their HVAC service technician, the crews found the burned remains of a nest inside the ductwork of the HVAC unit located outside the building.

Roll Over With Door Pop
A crew was alerted around noon on Monday for a MVC on the Broadford Road. The crew arrived to find a single vehicle accident that had rolled at least three times with the driver still inside. The crew quickly went to work to stablize the patient, and pop the doors. Once opened up, The driver was treated by the EMS crew from Co. 9 (Southern Garrett Rescue) and transported to Garrett Memorial Hospital.

Apartment Fire in Mt. Lake Park
Dispatch recieved the call at 1238 hrs. at 815 Deer Park Ave. in Mt. Lake Park for food on the stove in the apartment. With crews in house the Engine/Rescue and Truck responded and arrived on the scene within three minutes to find the working fire. The crew quickly went to work finding heavy fire and high heat conditons. The fire was quickly knocked down and as incoming units arrived they were assigned to check adjoining units for extension and utility control. The State Fire Marshall Office was notified and determined the cause to have been from unattened food on the stove. The loss to the structure and contents was estimated at $90,000.00. Two families were displaced and no injures were reported.
